Spotlight Update
I am still working on my “In The Spotlight” series at YouTube. Rather than post all of them here I’ll just provide a link to the playlist. I have so many projects going on at YouTube that I don’t often get to work on this blog.

Storyvids (Semi) Finale
I enjoyed doing the storyvids series and I hope readers found some interesting videos to watch. I still have some very good videos to post but my attention has shifted to one of my YouTube projects. I don’t want to rush things here, or struggle with conflicting projects, so I decided to wrap up this series for now. I will return to it at a later date.

GRAVITY by ItsAllAboutOli Oliver Gregory has only been on YouTube for a month but he’s gained a few real fans. He produces witty vlogs and funny stories that are quite entertaining. Oliver’s “spoofs” are interesting. He writes and directs them, and plays all of the characters. The stories are a bit odd and have odd characters like Miranda in Gravity. Oliver creates comedy...

Nerf Wars:Operation Transport Arsenal Pt 1 by thenerfaholic Watch part 2. Jack Eastment is a young YouTuber from Australia. He vlogs, reviews Nerf products, and makes action videos. I stumbled across one of his reviews and got caught up in his enthusiasm and the way he presented himself. I thought the video was a good example of a vlog/review. I wasn’t really interested in Nerf guns but...

Focus On Storytelling Videos
In the next few posts I will be concentrating on videos that tell stories. They will be from various genres but all will tell some form of story. I hope to introduce my readers to some fine young video-makers. I also hope that they get more exposure and this encourages them to make more videos. I like to be entertained and I can be a hard critic sometimes. But sometimes I try to see beyond a...

Video Playlists Updated
I have updated the video playlists. I added Russian 2 and Young Pop 2. I need to fix a link in Dutch 1. I have a playlist tentatively called “English 1” that’s almost ready to post. It may have to wait until the end of the month. I may also make a Jewish playlist.

He is the main soloist of “Lucky Ten” - a Boston based childrens vocal and dance ensemble. He has...

Secret Agent by Matty B When I first heard about this 7 year old rapper I wondered how professional he would be. I also wondered whether the videos would be inappropriate considering his age. Kidsvids: Final Thoughts
This was a fun series to do. I got to “meet” some interesting people and I had fun. I was quite pleased with the positive feedback from some of the YouTubers. This made me work harder on the posts. When I heard about the volcano in Iceland, and the huge ash cloud causing problems in northern Europe, I wondered if Menno would mention it. He did blog about it and included some very nice photos.
