One of my usual internet routines is to visit Men-a-men: Dit ben ik! I’ve been reading Menno’s blog for years and enjoy a different perspective on events in the Netherlands.
When I heard about the volcano in Iceland, and the huge ash cloud causing problems in northern Europe, I wondered if Menno would mention it. He did blog about it and included some very nice photos.

In 2005 and 2006 I broadcast a series of podcasts called “Radio Firemind”. The player is from Garageband.com. I used the site to find music and to integrate the songs with my voice clips.
The podcasts were fun but were a lot of work. Sometimes it was frustrating to find music I liked that was “podsafe” - ie wouldn’t get me in trouble with the “music police”.
The only podcasts/online radio I regularly listen to are TheSkyKid.com Radio and The Magic Hit Parade.

I chose the following podcast because all of the songs survived the years and work in the ‘cast. Furthermore I was in good form and didn’t get too tongue tied.
RF 03 - The Indie Podcast
Radio Firemind is evolving as I experiment with a mixed voice and music podcast.
This ‘cast was a lot more work than any of the others. The music was the easy part because all I did was decide which songs to post. Trying to comment fairly and meaningfully on music that is new to me was difficult.

It’s time for me to start posting again. Nothing exciting is happening but my list of videos to post is getting too large. :)
Videos and (possibly commentary) include
- Some vids of songs I used to listen to and new ones.
- The 2009 Junior Eurovision Song Contest and several of the participants.
- Short films with a “young talent” theme.

I keep playing with two blog ideas. I am holding back because I blog in spurts then get lost in City Of Heroes for ages.
The first is a shared fiction blog that anyone could contribute to. Tumblr’s reblog feature would be a big help as would the new Submissions feature.
The second would be a City Of Heroes blog. I would move some old posts from the dead blogspot blog and add new content. Sometimes I feel like writing about the game and also I want to show off the work I did in a Super Group base.
